Our school is a warm and welcoming community where every child is known, valued, and supported to thrive. A strong sense of Belonging, Learning, and Respect sits at the heart of everything we do. We work hard to ensure students feel safe, included, and confident to be themselves while striving for their personal best.
We are proud to be a Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Support school, with clear expectations and shared language that help our students grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Our classrooms are engaging and supportive, and our staff build strong relationships with students and families to ensure each learner is encouraged and challenged.
Our teaching and learning programs are strongly evidence-based and grounded in how students learn best. We use proven, best-practice approaches to literacy and numeracy instruction, with structured, explicit teaching and responsive support so every student can make steady, meaningful progress.
Student wellbeing is a priority. Through our weekly lessons with The Resilience Project, students develop gratitude, empathy, and mindfulness, building lifelong skills for emotional resilience and positive relationships.
We also offer rich learning experiences beyond the classroom. Our sustainability programs encourage students to care for the environment and understand their role as responsible global citizens. A highlight of our hands-on learning is our involvement in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, where students grow, harvest, prepare, and share fresh food while learning valuable practical and teamwork skills.
Our supportive community is an integral part of our school. Families and community partners work alongside us to create meaningful opportunities and a strong network of care around our students. Together, we celebrate effort, kindness, curiosity, and achievement — making our school a place where everyone belongs.
